Why Ardent
Work that means something
We’re small, fast, and serious about impact. Here’s what it’s like to build with us.
Impact at continental scale
Every feature you ship helps Africans support causes, run petitions, and organise for change. Your work never sits in a backlog; it compounds into real-world impact across the continent.
Ownership, not tickets
A small team with an enormous surface area. You own problems end-to-end (from the first sketch to production) and ship the things that genuinely move the needle, fast.
Hybrid by default
Most of the team works hybrid from Accra (close enough to whiteboard, pair, and ship side by side) with fully-remote roles across Africa where the work allows. We keep meetings few and decisions written down.
Trust is the product
People trust us with their generosity, their causes, and their data. We hold an uncompromising bar for security, transparency, and care in everything we build.
Benefits
We take care of our people
The support you need to do the best work of your career.
Hybrid & flexible
Hybrid from our Accra base, fully remote where it fits, with hours that flex around your life.
Competitive pay
Fair, transparent pay that reflects your impact, and grows as you do.
Learning budget
A yearly stipend for the courses, books, and conferences that sharpen your craft.
Health cover
Medical cover that looks after you and the people you love.
Flexible time off
Generous, trust-based leave; switch off and recharge when you need it.
Latest gear
Top-tier hardware and tools, so nothing slows down your best work.
Impact days
Paid days each year to roll up your sleeves for causes close to your heart.
Team gatherings
We bring the whole team together in person to build, learn, and celebrate.
