The Marketplace is a trust and discovery layer that connects providers with the people and causes who need them. Both sides arrange and settle payment directly between themselves — Ardent never processes, holds, or takes a cut of marketplace payments. After a service is delivered, both parties confirm what happened and leave a review, building an honest, public track record.

Events
Free and RSVP events are completely free to host. For paid ticketing, organizers connect their own Paystack or Hubtel account, so ticket revenue settles directly to them — never to Ardent. Ardent charges a one-time flat GHS 699 platform fee per paid event. Your attendees pay only the ticket price you set; no Ardent fee is added at checkout.

Yes. You can request a withdrawal at any time from your dashboard. The available balance shown is already net of fees, so the amount you see is exactly what you can withdraw. Withdrawals are processed after admin review.
No. Donors pay exactly the amount they choose to donate. Fees are deducted from the campaign side, not added to the donation amount.
The 7% fee structure applies to public crowdfunding and hybrid campaigns created by ordinary users when public fundraising is enabled. Petition-only campaigns have no fees because they do not collect donations. Ardent Africa Foundation causes are different: they are automatically verified and donations to them are zero-fee (100% goes to the cause).
No. Causes operated by the Ardent Africa Foundation on ardent.africa are automatically verified and use the Foundation zero-fee donation path. Donors still pay the amount they choose, and the full gift goes to the Foundation cause with no platform or processing fee deduction shown on the cause page.
The 7% model on this page applies when public fundraising is open and you create or support a standard user-led fundraising or hybrid campaign. While public fundraising creation is limited to the Foundation, the examples here describe the fee model that will apply to broader public campaigns once that gate opens.
Fee rates are configured by the platform administrators and may be adjusted. Any changes will be communicated in advance. The fee rate at the time of each donation is locked in for that transaction.
