Job Portal

Hire and get hired, free to post and apply.

A careers marketplace built for Africa: structured profiles, one-tap applications, AI matching, and a real hiring pipeline. Posting and applying are free, no money ever flows between employers and candidates, and your contact details never leak.

Free to post and free to apply, with no listing or placement fees

AI matches the right roles to the right people, both ways

Your email, phone, and address stay private; first contact is in-app

A hiring toolkit, not a job board

Everything both sides need to find each other and follow through, with privacy and AI built in, and no fees to post or apply.

Post jobs, hire smarter

Publish a verified company profile and post roles. An ATS-lite pipeline (kanban stages, notes, shortlists, and analytics) tracks every applicant from applied to hired.

A real candidate profile

Not a PDF in a black box. Build a structured profile (headline, summary, skills, experience, education, projects, and certifications) that employers can actually search.

AI that matches

Match scores and 'recommended for you' surface the roles that fit a candidate and the candidates that fit a role, so the right people find each other faster.

Apply in one tap

Signed-in candidates apply instantly from a role, with no re-typing your life story for every job. Track every application from one dashboard.

Talk directly

Application-gated two-way messaging keeps the conversation in one thread, plus rate-limited employer to candidate outreach for roles you're a fit for.

Private by design

Your email, phone, and exact address never appear on public reads. First contact is gated to in-app messaging, so you share details on your terms.

Put your roles on your careers page

Embed your open Ardent roles on your own site with a widget or a WordPress shortcode, and pull them through our public API. Post once, show them everywhere your candidates already are.

If you are looking

A CV that lives here, and an application you can follow

Applying into silence is the ordinary experience of looking for work. Most of what is below exists to make that less true.

Build the CV once

A headline, a summary, your region and district, the roles you want and the kind of work you will take, then experience, education, projects and certifications, each as its own entry you can correct rather than retype. A strength meter tells you what is still missing, and you can download the whole thing as a PDF to use anywhere.

Attach your own PDF or Word CV as well

Correct an entry without deleting and starting again

Export a formatted PDF whenever you want it

Apply, and then actually know

Every application sits in a tracker showing where it has reached. If the employer set screening questions you answer them as part of applying, and if they publish interview times you pick one yourself instead of waiting for a chain of emails. An offer arrives here, and you accept or decline it here.

Attach documents when you apply

Book your own interview slot, and cancel one you cannot make

Accept or decline an offer, with nothing binding until you answer

Ask before you apply

Every posting has a public discussion, so a question about hours or location is answered once for everybody rather than privately for whoever thought to ask. You can also message the employer directly about a role you applied for, from the app or the web.

Public questions on the posting

Direct messages both ways, on both surfaces

Be found without applying

Opt into the talent directory and employers can find you. Set alerts for the roles you want and hear when one appears. Read what other people said about working somewhere before you decide to apply there.

Job alerts in the app and by email

Employer reviews from people who worked there

An employer trust score on every posting

How it works

01

Build your profile

Candidates craft a structured profile; employers create a verified company page.

02

Post or discover

Employers post roles (the first is admin-reviewed); candidates search with filters and AI picks.

03

Apply & connect

Apply in one tap and message through the in-app thread, with no exposed contact details.

04

Manage the pipeline

Employers move applicants through an ATS-lite board with notes, shortlists, and analytics.

If you are hiring

The whole pipeline, and none of it costs anything

Posting is free, applying is free, and there is no paid placement to buy.

Write the posting properly

Title, description, requirements, salary range, category, location, contract type and a closing date. Post as your organisation rather than as yourself, so the role belongs to the company and survives whoever wrote it. Edit or withdraw it later, and close it when the seat is filled.

Published under the organisation, not the person

Editable after publishing

Deletion refused where it would destroy applications

Screen without reading four hundred CVs

Build a screening form of your own questions, give each one points, and set knockout rules. Scoring runs on the server and is never shown to the candidate, so a number they cannot see cannot be gamed. You see the score beside every applicant.

Twelve question kinds

Per-question points and knockout rules

Scores are yours, never the applicant's

Move people through, and say so

Read what a candidate actually sent, leave private notes and a rating, and move them along a pipeline. Publish interview times and let them choose one. Make an offer, send it, or withdraw it. Save somebody you liked to a shortlist that outlives the role, because the person who came second is the person you want next quarter.

Private notes and ratings, visible only to your team

A shortlist that survives the posting closing

Suggested candidates from the directory

Your company, on the record

A company profile with your tagline, story, industry, size and location, recruiter seats you control, and reviews from people who have actually worked there. Hiring is a separate team from your organisation seats on purpose: being an NGO admin does not make you a recruiter.

Recruiter seats, read by the team and changed by the owner

Employer reviews you can respond to

A trust score built from what is on the record

Straight facts

Free to post and apply, and your details stay yours.

The Job Portal charges nothing to post a job or apply, and no money ever flows between employer and candidate through Ardent. The only optional paid features are a voluntary tip and featuring a job (GHS 100 for a 30-day window).

Free to post and free to apply: no listing fee, no placement fee, no employer or candidate money through Ardent.

The only optional paid extras are a voluntary tip and featuring a job (GHS 100 for a 30-day window, charged on Ardent's own Paystack and non-refundable); posting, applying, and being contacted are never charged.

Candidate email, phone, and exact address never appear on public reads (a PII-safe directory projection).

First contact is gated to in-app messaging, so your details are shared on your terms, not scraped.

An employer's first posting is human-reviewed before it goes live, keeping the board credible.

AI match scores are a signal, not a gatekeeper: you always decide who to contact and where to apply.

Questions, answered

Yes. Posting a role and applying to one are both free, with no listing fee and no placement fee, and no money ever changes hands between employer and candidate through Ardent. The only optional paid features are a voluntary tip that supports Ardent, and featuring a job to pin it to the top of results (GHS 100 for a 30-day window, charged on Ardent's own Paystack and non-refundable). Neither is ever a condition of posting, applying, or being contacted.

Verified NGO/charity and corporate accounts can post roles. To keep the board credible and free of spam, an employer's very first posting is reviewed by an admin before it goes live. After that first approval, an established employer can post without the wait.

No. Public candidate profiles are served through a PII-safe projection that never exposes your email, phone, or exact address. Employers reach you through in-app messaging first, so you decide if and when to share direct contact details. Your information is never scraped from a public page.

Match scores are computed from your structured profile and each role's requirements, and they surface fit in both directions: the roles most suited to you, and the candidates most suited to a role. It is a signal to help people find each other faster, not a gatekeeper. No algorithm auto-rejects you, and a human on the hiring side always makes the real decision.

Employers can reach out for roles you fit, but only through rate-limited, in-app outreach, never by getting your private contact details. The conversation stays in one thread on the platform, and your email and phone remain hidden until you personally choose to share them.

No. Once your structured profile is built, signed-in candidates apply in a single tap from any role, and every application is tracked from one dashboard so you always know where you stand. Employers, meanwhile, manage all applicants through an ATS-lite pipeline with stages, notes, and shortlists.

What it costs

Free to post, free to apply, and no money moves between you

There is no charge to publish a role and no charge to apply for one. Ardent never handles salary, never takes a placement fee, and never sits between an employer and a candidate for any payment at all. Nothing on this page becomes payable later.

No fee to post, and no limit on how many roles

No fee to apply, ever

Salary is agreed and paid entirely between employer and candidate

An offer is binding only when the candidate answers it, not when it is sent

Candidate contact details are never exposed in a directory or a search result

Screening scores are never shown to the person being scored

Find your next role, or your next hire.

A structured profile, one-tap apply, AI matching, and a private inbox. Posting and applying are free, and Ardent never handles money between employers and candidates. Post a role or build your profile in minutes.
